Rather Sudden Drip in Average MPG

Just noticed a decrease in computer provided MPG which has historically been rock solid consistent over speed and driving conditions. At 65 mph level road, I have been getting 20-22MPG on my 2006 Denali 5.3L stock. Engine runs normal, lots of power, no missing, idle smooth, no indication of any issues except the sudden drop in computer calculated MPG. Now at 65mph level road I’m sitting at 17.0 to 17.2 mpg.

No smell of leaking fuel just no obvious reason for the mpg drop.

Any suggestions or comments, please?

Thanks
