Newbie to Trailblazers

Hi, I just got a Silver 2004 Trailblazer LS 4.2 2WD with a bad transmission. Vehicle has 138k miles picked it up for $600. The original owners wife ran it out of oil (Bad oil pressure switch) and he put in a take out motor with 125K. The trans lasted 2 weeks after that. She told him she had enough of it and went and got a Terrain.
So far I have fixed the transmission and installed all new cooler lines, and radiator. The grill was broken and the headlights were fogged up. Installed some new headlamps & picked up a new paint-able grill. I painted it a Charcoal grey metallic, blacked out the Bowtie and added a 1/4 wide edge trim to it.
Me, I am a retired from the trade ASE certified master-tech. Transmissions are what I've done most of my life. Still building the occasional 4L60E. looking forward to 62-63 (61-1/2 now) when I can fully retire.
