I think I know what he found.

I was looking for superchargers for my 97 S-10 Blazer before I decided to upgrade to the TB , and I found this:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevr...spagenameZWD1V

It looks interesting, but I still don't even have FRIKKEN TINTS, so it'll be a while before I move on to it. Check it out guys, see what you think.

OOPS, I think this is a different one. Check it out anyway!

Well if its not just a dryer/vaccum motor, or a boat impeller, they did market the s-10 Blazer as a TrailBlazer for a year or two... so the supplier could just be refering to that model Blazer Wish they'd get their stuff straight lol

Looking at the photo and the seemingly endless 'applications' for the blower, it is just a vaccum motor that you can slap a filter on it. The actual air mooved will be less than a CAI or any free flowing intake... the motors like that acctually slow the air down and will jsut piss you off

I know, just modify one for the I5, beef it up a little and change the packaging to fit under our hoods and voilla!! Instant mega-bucks as there are a lot of guys that would get one ASAP.

Well that is kinda true. Many people "WANT" one and will say all day long they will buy one, but when you spend large dollars on RDT&E for a forced induction system, and offer it at, lets say $6k complete, not all those people will run to the store and buy one. I think that is the issue. I may turn into a gamble for a company to build one and turn a profit.

If say 3 people came along with cash to get the R&D going this could happen over this winter. I have enough time on my turbo build to know how the engine behaves under boost.

ROM cost to get the R&D done + build 3 deliverable kits roughly $25-30K.

Boost fueling/spark would be done via a piggyback ECM.

I was contemplating picking an M90 up the other day, but after testing there was too much slop in the pulleys So i just picked up an E-fan from an S80 instead for $20.

This should be feasable to do. Turbo or supercharge, even though at this point i think the supercharger may be an easy way out.

I posted these images before I just don't know where they went. This is an I5, almost nearly idenitcal to our engine bay in the most sense. I don't know the differences, but in comparison with where their supercharger is compared to our engine.

The AC line was moved with a soft rubber line to the front instead of right over the engine, out alternator bracket would have to be cut down a little bit for the snout to fit. An idler pulley would have to be placed right below the alternator bracket for a smoother belt transition(and theres already bolts there!)

The only part that would be the biggest headache is the intake manifold leading to the supercharger base, im not a pro fabricator or have the bank roll to do that, but the thing is choosing either an M90 or M112 for a decent start.
