Um remote start has never been offered on the GMT360 period. Bluetooth integration was the 1 big difference between 08 and 09, and 09 only had the SS and LT models (not sure on which trim levels though).

Cargo cover has been an option since 02.

Smile TB/SS '08-09' options (continued)

Thanks for the info!!
Couple more for you;
-if the SS has leather interior then that makes it a 3SS? (some people that
have one for sale dont list 1SS or 3SS, and/or dont know that it is a trim level option).
-Can you tell me if th navigation option is user freindly and a worth while
feature? I know some mfg's; mbz, bmw are a nightmare to load, etc. Is
it true if you install the nav. C.D. you can no longer listen to C.D. music
due to a single disk player?
-And the only difference between a '08 had the '09 SS models was the blutooth option? Every thing else is exactly the same?
-
thanks again for all the info.!!
Bob

A dead giveaway for 1SS vs 3SS is the cloth vs leather interior. But these are easy to swap out, some people prefer cloth so they swap seats. Little trick, look at the HVAC controls. These are next to impossible to swap out (lots and lots of time required). Manual controls with sliders in the middle are 1SS and digital controls with knobs on the outside are 3SS.

I have the Nav HU on my 3SS and wish I didnt. Its clunky to use and takes 3-5 mins to enter a street address. I used it for 6mo then I got my Droid X and its faster, always up to date, and has better realtime updates for trip length. If you want to get a nav unit, Id highly recommend going aftermarket. I would have done it, but this is what my truck came with and until I have ~$1000-1500 to drop on a good aftermarket system, Im sticking with it. Plus Ill lose my rear DVD player too I believe. And its a single disk so if you have the Nav disk in, cant listen to CDs. An aux/iPod adapter is a great $100 investment, I love mine. Also you can buy an external 6cd changer and use that with the Nav, but I would rather use my iPod than CDs these days.

Im pretty sure just the Bluetooth, honestly for 09 Im surprised GM even did that because 09s were only made for about 3-4 months.
