new mods new times not happy

well i went to great lake dragway about 2 weeks ago and ran a best of 13.85 at 99.12 mph with a 2.05 60ft, with just a k&n filter and was very very happy

now I added a ADM CAI with stock mass air and Diablo tuner with the performance tune on and the truck felt stronger but ran 14.2 at 96.21 mph same 60ft and the temp was 52 degrees with no wind. My past run it was 10 degrees warmer.

So i put back the Stock tune and ran 14.00 at my 98.8mph that was a hot lap but it felt like it should of.

What do you guys think i should do, this can be right i am 100% sure that the tune is taking away 20 - 30 horses

Since you added the CAI you might be running too lean with it and the programmer tune together.Your probably getting knock retard and killing your power and possibly damaging your truck.

that what I thought but I got both from ADM and he said that they work together. I was a package deal.

I should be ok if I put the stock tune in and drive normal you think right?

I might just get a dyno tune instead but man what a waste of money.

sorry andy your right, ill be giving you a call to work out. I in no way wanted it to sound like I was bashing your company honestly your cai is top notch and it only took 2 days for your products to reach me.

I don't recall anything about needing to data log but if that's needed I have no problem, besides do you need a cable for that because it never came with one to hook up to the computer.

sorry for any poor grammer I'm on a company work phone.

thanks again andy ill be giving you a call monday
