Has anyone just run the transmission rubber hose from the radiator to the trans instead of the steel lines?
I just bought a 06 and po lost fluid while driving do to a rusted line. It cost him the trans. I'm now installing a rebuilt one and I've seen a few ppl say the aftermarket lines don't last to long before rust start's again.
I was thinking of running the trans cooler hose from the rad to trans keeping them hooked to each other and away from any moving/hot parts. I'm in upstate NY and unfortunately in the salt belt.
