Fuel Leak Recall in the works Trailvoy 2002-2003

General Motors had known that its 2002-2003 Envoy (XL and XUV) and Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT may develop fuel leaks due to corrosion.

I hope all you good folks get a new FREE Tank and Fuel pump out of this ASAP.

Lets hope the General makes good on this

As much as I hate to say it, I hope my truck falls under that. I think I might have a FP issue.

hmmm...I just had this replaced three weeks ago. I reported by case to both GM and the NHTSA.

I don't see any rust in the gas tank area, but it could be something serious. I hope we get a new tank/pump, I love driving the G6 rental...or the 06 impala

Is the proposed recall just for the Ext models in those years? Why would the Ext models be more succeptable than the SWB models?

We have the 25 Gal. tank. Is our fuel pump located inside the tank?
