Unhappy Replacing envoy bose speakers

Hey there fellow trailvoy members Okay so here's the issue, today I took my door panel off in order to replace my two front bose speakers on my 2002 envoy SLT. I had already bought a pair of 6.5 inch infinity speakers to replace the bose speakers, but when I took out the speaker and speaker template I was unpleasantly surprised -_- It turns out that the envoy slt has a special template created specially for the bose speakers. Now, I'm not sure where I have to go from here, do I buy new 6.5 inch speaker templates and install them? Or would I be able to find the same size speakers as the bose speakers that are already inside the car? Help please (

The only speakers that will be a direct fit are stock replacements.

Here's a link to how I adapted to 6.5's. But if that's all you do (replacing the front door speakers), I think you'll be disappointed in the sound. (either stick with stock or pretty much redo it all)

I'm not sure but I think the non bose speaker pods would bolt in and then your 6.5's would bolt in.

Unless you bypass the bose amp you will only get low frequency tone out of them due to factory crossover
