It should have been only in two sections but it was added to an extra one I'll see what I can do about that. I wanted a separate one for the SS guys though. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks. Just seems like too much info would get misplaced/lost in the shuffle as its currently set up.

Thanks Drew... anything to keep this site fresh

As this platform ages, I fear less and less will show up here to stay involved.

everyone is rude

the problem with the site it seems everyone is quick to put down or be-little everyone. telling them it was about 6 pages ago, start your own thread, etc. the goal of the site (i think) is to help people, show off some cool trucks, and maybe make some friends. you have to read 20 post telling the person he/she is a terd just to find the answer. just my 2 cents. chris boyd

Sending Unit help.

I'm new here. I love this site, but that is a bad thing. Three months ago I sold my crew cab s-10 and bought an 05 Envoy XL 5.3L. The envoy is the nicest riding vehicle I have ever driven, and the motor feels like it has more power than my old GMC Sierra 5.7L. I bought the Envoy with 100,000 on it, but to drive it and look at it, you would think it had 30,000 on it.

That being said, when I get one thing fixed on this thing something else needs attention. Next up is the fuel gauge sending unit, can anyone tell me if this is inside the tank or outside, and does anyone know of a video on changing this.

Thanks.

Hello everyone. Being my first post I thought I would say Hi and thanks to everyone who replies to the DIY & this site. This site really helps.

Have 2005 TB LS 4.2 that just started to stall and rough idle with 120000 miles.
Got a code P0014. Ok Bad oil & got it changed immediatly, to no avail, changed spark plugs & cleaned VVT (Variable Valve Timing solonoid) now P0014, P0301 & P0300. Changed VVT. Now no P0014 but P301.
Put in all new OEM AC Delco Spark plugs & runs great.
Lessons learned. Always change oil & never use any other spark plugs but OEM
Thanks
